Executive Housekeeper/Family Assistant
Location: Hudson Valley (Rhinebeck), NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour (based on experience)
A private family in Rhinebeck, NY, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Housekeeper/Family Assistant to help manage their household efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable handling various household responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Perform full home care, including daily cleaning, organizing, and tidying (deep cleaning service comes weekly).
Manage a high volume of laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing.
Purchase household supplies and maintain inventory.
Coordinate with service providers for home maintenance and repairs.
Plan, shop for, and prepare simple, healthy family meals.
Provide occasional driving assistance for one teenage child (until September).
Oversee and coordinate Airbnb property management, including scheduling cleaners and preparing for guests.
Assist with occasional pet-related tasks for a well-behaved, medium-sized dog when needed (rarely).
Prior experience in household management, housekeeping, or family assistance.
Strong organizational skills and ability to anticipate household needs.
Comfortable handling household scheduling, coordinating services, and managing supplies.
Capable cook, with experience preparing simple, healthy meals.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience managing Airbnb or rental properties is a plus.
Warm, professional, and able to integrate smoothly into a family environment.
