Part-Time Housekeeper Position – Washington Square Park, Philadelphia
A busy, private semi-retired couple in Center City, Philadelphia, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Part-Time Housekeeper to manage their one-story, newly built formal home. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who understands how to care for a high-end residence with valuable furnishings, fine linens, and delicate fixtures.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation: $32 – $38 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Washington Square Park, Philadelphia (Center City)
Parking Provided
Must Have a Valid Driver’s License & Personal Vehicle (for grocery shopping and errands)
Household Management – Oversee the daily upkeep of the residence, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standard.
Vendor Coordination – Schedule and manage appointments for household services (electricians, plumbers, clock repair, etc.).
Cleaning & Organization – Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks, keeping the home pristine.
Laundry & Ironing – Care for fine linens and high-end clothing, ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance.
Grocery Shopping & Errands – Shop for household supplies and groceries once a week.
Light Meal Preparation – Prepare simple, healthy meals (e.g., salads) when needed.
Discretion & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality and respect the couple’s privacy.
Experienced in working in formal, high-end homes.
Organized, communicative, and resourceful in managing household tasks and vendors.
Detail-oriented with knowledge of how to care for valuable home furnishings and expensive fabrics.
Comfortable in a private, professional setting.
Able to multi-task efficiently and maintain a high level of discretion.
Not frequently on a personal cell phone during work hours.
Willing to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
