Experienced, Bilingual, Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper Needed for a Home in Mill Valley, CA! 

Are you a mature, friendly, and warm individual with a passion for creating magical moments in childcare and maintaining a nurturing and inviting home environment? A kind, loving, growing family, with a a 4-year-old girl, a baby due in March, and a very friendly, lovable dog, located in the picturesque Mill Valley, overlooking the water, is seeking a Bilingual Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper, who loves the outdoors, to join their household.

Job Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

Childcare: (4-year-old): Pick up and drop off from school. Transport to afternoon activities. Engage in age-appropriate games and activities. Plan and embark on outings. Assist with meals, packing lunch on some days, snacks, etc. (Infant): Assist with naps, baths, and feeding. Enjoy walks with the baby. Help mom out as requested

Housekeeping: Manage family laundry. Meal prep for the family. Help with cleaning the kitchen, emptying/loading the dishwasher, cleaning living areas, etc. Keep the house tidy between deep cleanings (housekeeper comes monthly).

What Works Best for the Family: Someone who enjoys outdoor activities and is willing to take children on outdoor adventures. An experienced Nanny/Housekeeper who is mature, friendly, warm, kind, experienced, trustworthy, reliable, and flexible. Someone comfortable working with both parents around when the baby comes, while they are on maternity and paternity leave. Someone who understands and can engage in age-appropriate activities with both children and who can keep the structure of the day as needed. This family is looking for a Nanny/Housekeeper committed to a long-term position and willing to grow with their family for many years to come!

Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: 02 Children, Ages 4-years-old (G) and a Newborn (due in early March)
• Housekeeping: Shared Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Driving: Required
• Travel: No Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: - Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to start early (7 am on some days) and stay later occasionally. Occasional weekend hours and date nights, as needed (will be requested in advance). One date night per weekend would be great.
• Must have previous experience as a Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper.
• Languages: Must be Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not mandatory, and any other languages welcome).
• Experience: 05 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Mature, friendly, warm, kind, experienced, trustworthy, reliable, and flexible.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30/hour, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
• Living Accommodations: Live-In - Separate apartment in the home with a private bedroom, bathroom, living area, and kitchenette.
• Vacation: 2 weeks PTO
• Health Insurance: Open to a monthly stipend depending on the need
