We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Live-Out Nanny/Family Assistant to join a wonderful family located in Vienna,VA starting ASAP. 

The role will focus on household management, including light housekeeping, meal preparation/cooking, and family assistance, with some childcare duties.

Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the home, preparing meals, managing grocery shopping, running errands, and providing occasional care for our 18-month-old child during the day. You will also assist with drop-offs and pickups for our older children, ages 5 and 7, as needed. Additional duties include caring for our Bernadoodle and some overnight stays with the children, amounting to 2-3 overnights (one full weekend) per month.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, excellent references, and a valid driver’s license. The work schedule is roughly Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with one full weekend a month required for overnights. Flexibility and a collaborative approach to household management are essential.

 

Salary: $35-40 per hour DOE, paid through payroll. Around 85k/year

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for the 18-month-old child occasionally throughout the day.
• Family assistant duties when Mom is with the children such as meal prep/planning. grocery shopping and errands, organization and light cleaning up, etc
• Assist with drop-offs and pickups for the older children who are in school full-time only while you are not supervising the child.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as tidying up, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home.
• Care for the family's Bernadoodle dog, including feeding, walks, and general care.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding for the children.
• Stay with the children for weekends when the parents travel, including overnight stays.
• Remain flexible and available for additional hours on weekends when needed.
• The family values teamwork and a collaborative approach to childcare and household management.

Qualifications:

• Work Days: Monday - Friday, 1 pm- 7 pm, and one full weekend a month overnights (10 am start time one Thursday a month)
• Languages: English
• Experience: 5 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Driving: Required, car provided
• Comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
