Job Title: Full-Time Nanny

Location: Bayside, Queens (Moving to Long Island possibly)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Description: Single dad is in search of a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Nanny to join his family in Bayside, Queens. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care for two children, aged 7 and 8, as well as assisting with household tasks and occasional weekend travel.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  2. Pick up children from school and accompany them to after-school activities.
  3. Assist children with homework and engage them in educational and recreational activities.
  4. Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children, including school lunches for the following day.
  5. Handle household errands and ensure necessary supplies are stocked.
  6. Accompany the family on weekend trips, approximately twice a month, often to upstate New York and Naples, Florida.
  7. Supervise children during motorsports-related activities, as the family is involved in this hobby.
  8. Encourage outdoor play and engage children in physical activities.
  9. Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
  10. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, progress, and any concerns.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a nanny or childcare provider, with a strong understanding of child development. Minimum 8 years of full time nanny experience (not "babysitting").
  2. Fluent in Spanish preferred, to facilitate communication with the children.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine love for working with children.
  4. Energetic, athletic, and enjoys outdoor activities.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  6. Intelligent and capable of assisting with homework and educational activities.
  7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred 
  8. Willingness to travel occasionally on weekends.
  9. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  10. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
