Private family looking hire a House Manager/Nanny in Short Hills, NJ!

The Ideal Candidate: The primary responsibilities would be assisting in the care of their two sons (ages 6 and 9) including the morning routine of getting them up, breakfast, ready for school, getting them to school. While the boys are at school that time would be utilized for household needs- errands, light cleaning, organization projects, grocery runs, etc. After school candidate would be responsible for picking them up, getting them to their after-school activities, helping with homework and dinner, etc. Additional help is needed when one parent is traveling for work or has an evening work obligation but alternately there can be days when very little is needed. Ideally, they would like someone who can work a shift from 7AM-7PM, this would not be every day of the week. They will guarantee hours as well. This family wants to find a House Manager/Nanny who truly hits is off with their children and be a long-term member of their household. One child had ADHD and does require a little extra attention and time, but overall, both boys are typical sporty and active children. Looking for someone who is interested in an active lifestyle.

What Works Best for Family: This family is very much looking for someone who will develop a strong rapport with their children. That is the most important thing to them. Ideally someone active as they are two active little boys. They need consistency and structure. They love sports and being outdoors. They are genuinely looking for someone who can be a consistent positive presence they rely on and listen to as much as either parent and who can anticipate the calendar and logistics in the same way we do.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: - M-F 7AM-7PM, parents often get home early and can relieve you early. They would like someone who is available and can be flexible.
• Languages: English
• Experience: 5 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Active, loving, energetic, truly loves engaging children, calm, organized.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30-$35/hour – Can be flexible on rate. They are looking for the best fit.
• Living Accommodations: Live In OR Live- out
• Vacation: 6 weeks off during the year
