Job Title: Experienced Full-Time Housekeeper

Location: Upper East Side, New York City

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $1,200 - $1,500 ++ per week (depending on experience)

About Us: We are a couple residing on Fifth Avenue in a smaller, full-service building in the Upper East Side. We live in a non-formal home but enjoy entertaining guests frequently. Our household includes two adorable small dogs, and we value a warm, family-like atmosphere for those who work with us.

Job Description: We are seeking a full-time, experienced housekeeper who is well-versed in managing the day-to-day operations and cleaning of an upscale apartment. The ideal candidate should be capable of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, handling laundry and ironing, and preparing light meals (bonus if you are a skilled cook). Additionally, this role involves answering doors, serving guests, and receiving packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the apartment.
• Perform laundry duties, including ironing.
• Prepare light meals; additional cooking skills are a plus.
• Answer doors, serve guests during gatherings, and receive packages.
• Communicate effectively with building staff, including the full-time handyman and superintendent.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of the household.
• Accompany the family to the Hamptons in August and Aspen in July.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working in an ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) home or apartment in the Upper East Side.
• Strong cleaning and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in laundry and ironing.
• Basic cooking skills; advanced culinary skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with building staff.
• Upbeat personality and a can-do attitude.
• Love for small dogs and ability to assist with their care.
