Job Title: Temporary Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11213

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 12 PM

Compensation: $40 - $45 per hour

Employment Duration: One week (June 17th - June 21st)

About the Family: They are a private family looking to hire a temporary nanny/housekeeper to assist while the father is away for work. The wife Andrea will be home with their two children: Jules, 10 months old, and Lulu, 7 years old. They have a nanny who works from 9 AM to 6 PM and a cleaning lady who comes on Tuesdays.

The Ideal Candidate: "We are seeking someone who can help Andrea with the morning routine, including preparing breakfast and school lunch, and taking care of Jules while Andrea prepares Lulu for school and brings her there. You will hand off Jules to our nanny at 9 AM, then help arrange the house, perform light cleaning, and possibly go grocery shopping once or twice during the week. Additionally, you will prepare something for dinner that Andrea can heat up for the kids and herself. There may be a few additional requests from Andrea, but this is the primary scope of work."

Position Responsibilities:

• Childcare:

  • Prepare breakfast and school lunch in the mornings.
  • Take care of Jules (10 months old) from 6:30 AM to 9 AM.
  • Assist Andrea as needed while she prepares Lulu (7 years old) for school and drops her off.

• Housekeeping:

  • Arrange the house and perform light cleaning.
  • Handle family laundry.

• Cooking:

  • Help start/prep for dinner.
  • Prepare plain family meals.

• Errands:

  • Weekly grocery shopping (if possible).

Position Requirements:

• Work Hours: 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• References: Minimum of 2 references required.
• Background: Must pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire.
• Personality Traits: Reliable, organized, and flexible.
