Full-Time Housekeeper Needed on Park Ave, Manhattan

Location: Park Ave, Manhattan
Residence: 2 Bedroom, 4 Bath

Private family on Park Ave is in search of an experienced housekeeper to start ASAP. The housekeeper will need to work well with a full staff and be great at housekeeping, laundry, serving/table settings, and general organization. 

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (40 hours/week)
• Occasional extended hours until 7 PM, 2-3 nights/week
• 43-47 hours/week with overtime pay for hours over 40
• Month of August: Family is in the Hamptons; regular hours with no overtime, providing a nice break for the housekeeper

Compensation:

• $45/hour with the potential to increase to $50/hour for the right candidate
• $300/month health insurance stipend

Start Date: ASAP, with a one-week trial period

Responsibilities:

• General housekeeping, ensuring the home is tidy and well-maintained
• Extensive laundry duties, including hand washing, ironing, and handling delicate fabrics like silk
• Setting the table and assisting with meal service a few nights a week when the chef is present
• General organization, maintaining order as per labeled instructions

Requirements:

• Experience in housekeeping, particularly with delicate fabrics and thorough cleaning
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Flexibility to occasionally stay later for meal service
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
