Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper

Location: Syosset, NY

Job Type: Part-Time (24-32 hours per week)

Rate: $30/hour 

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3-4 days per week ; 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm

About Us: We are a busy family with three young children under 3 and one small dog. We're seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our 5000 square foot home. We have a full-time Nanny, and we are looking for someone who is proactive, trustworthy, and a team player to join our household team. We need someone 3 days per week but could add a 4th day if needed for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform full deep cleaning of a 5000 square foot house, including:
  • Dusting all surfaces
  • Floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)
  • Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
  • Tidying and organizing as needed

 

• Manage all laundry duties:
  • Washing, drying, and folding clothes
  • Changing and laundering bed sheets and linens
  • Ironing and putting away clothes

 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the house
• Occasionally assist with meal preparation
• Work collaboratively with the full-time Nanny to ensure a well-maintained and organized household

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role
• Trustworthy, proactive, and able to work independently
• Easy-going nature with a friendly and positive attitude
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Good communication skills and a team player mindset
• Comfortable working in a household with young children
