Full-Time Nanny Position in Arlington, VA

Position Title: Full-Time Nanny

Location: Arlington, VA

Start Date: September

Salary: $70,000-$75,000/year + Monthly Insurance Stipend

Schedule: Full-time

Family Details:

• Children: One son, age 4, and a baby due in August
• Parents:
  • Mother: Corporate lawyer with a demanding schedule, limited time off
  • Father: Independent entrepreneur with a flexible schedule, but frequent travel with short notice

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for a newborn and a 4-year-old son
• Engage in age-appropriate activities to promote development and learning
• Prepare and serve lunch for the 4-year-old
• Assist with light housework related to childcare (e.g., children's laundry, tidying up play areas)
• Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for the children at all times
• Adapt to changing schedules and be available for occasional last-minute needs due to the father's travel

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage the needs of both a newborn and a preschooler
• Comfortable with light housework and meal preparation
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Non-smoker
