Private couple in Central Park is looking to hire a long-term, full-time Housekeeper/Laundress to work Thursday - Monday.

Main responsibilities: Housekeeping, laundry, assist with serving and clearing meals particularly Friday night dinner for friends and family. In the summer the family spends Thursday night to Monday morning in Sag Harbor and we will need assistance there from Friday - Sunday.

They are a friendly family with long time staff who have been with them since 1999 and 2014. They  have adult children who live on their own. Their mother is their downstairs neighbor and sometimes she needs assistance but is very easy going too.  They family also has two cats so you must be comfortable with cats in the home.

Position Responsibilities

• Housekeeping: Detailed housekeeping 
• Kitchen: Help Start/Prep for Dinner, clean up after Friday night dinner
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Ironing: Yes
• Errands: 2/3 times a wk Grocery Shopping
• Driving: Required
• Travel: Sag Harbor in the Summers....Friday - Sunday live-in.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: 9am - 5pm Thursday - Monday....Start later and work later on Friday to assist with Friday night dinners.
• Languages: English
• Experience: 5+ Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
