Family of 5 living in Montclair, New Jersey looking to hire an energetic organized housekeeper who is kid friendly and can cook. 

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a dynamic, organized, reliable, and experienced part-time housekeeper/manager to become an indispensable part of our lives. We have three kids + one elderly dog, and could use help with the following:-cleaning/tidying meal prep and cooking (must be a great cook!) adult laundry + household linens ,organizing, -occasional food shopping or errands, major plus if you can provide occasional back-up babysitting for our young children, who will mostly be in school and with their au pair. A typical day will include time spent doing meal prep, cleaning, and errands from about 2-4, then potentially back-up childcare depending on the day from about 4-6, then finishing cleaning (including cleaning after dinner) from around 6-7:30pm.

What Works Best for Family: We'd love someone kind, organized but flexible, calm and tolerant of a little chaos, driven/motivated to do a good job, and just willing to pitch in on a lot of different things to make our lives easier. We understand that this is a tough role to fill so really looking for someone with an outstanding personality who is easy to communicate with and wants to make this work.

Requested Duration: hopefully 10 years or more!

• Errands: Dry Cleaners; Post Office,Etc.
• Driving: Preferred, Not Required
• Travel: No Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00 PM - 7:00PM OR Monday-Thursday 1:30-7 (25 hours per week)

Position Compensation

• Salary: $35-$38 per hour- depending on skills and experience
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
• Vacation: 2 weeks
