Private family looking hire a Live-In Nanny/Family Personal Assistant in Sag Harbor, NY.

The Ideal Candidate: The client is seeking a dedicated and versatile individual for the role of Family Personal Assistant/Nanny This position requires someone who enjoys wearing many hats and is willing to pitch in where needed. Duties typically begin around 11 a.m. and include running errands, catching up on bills, light grocery shopping, and planning activities for the children. School pick-up is at 3:15 p.m., after which the ideal candidate will provide a snack, assist with homework, engage in light play or swimming if the weather permits, and possibly transport the children to practices or lessons. The role also involves preparing and serving dinner, managing bath time, and overseeing the bedtime routine if the parents are out. The children are very easy-going and independent, making the job straightforward and enjoyable. They are looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into the family routine and provide the necessary support to keep things running smoothly. The client is seeking someone who is career oriented, happy to maintain a flexible schedule, and has a can-do attitude, willing to pitch in where needed.  The job will be M-F, with every other weekend needing someone on call. There will be travel involved as well, so someone with flying experience is needed. Children are aged 4 years and 8 years. **A private apartment will be provided for the position**

What Works Best for Family: They are seeking a VERY flexible and easygoing individual who is hardworking and has a great attitude. The children are gentle, so they require someone who is nurturing, kind, patient, and attentive. This is a divorced household situation where the children split their time between two homes. The nanny needs to be comfortable performing duties in both houses (it is a very friendly situation) Nanny will live in one place (an apartment will be provided) .

The family travels frequently, so they need someone who is comfortable with overnights and is okay working weekends when required. At least twice per month, the nanny will be needed for light duties over the weekend, such as Saturday night dates, a few hours on Sunday, or taking the children to birthday parties. The family travels to Montana in the summer, Austin in the spring and fall, and the Bahamas in the winter. They need someone who is comfortable traveling with the children, even if it means traveling one way at least.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $110,000 + Depending on experience. Pay is negotiable for the right candidate.
