Full-Time Fun and Energetic Private Educator Needed in Aspen, Colorado

Position Compensation

• Salary: $50-100/hour, Roughly 100k-180K+ (Flexible DOE) 
• Living Accommodations: Live Out (Condo provided near the family's home) 
• Vacation: 1-2 weeks PTO

We are seeking a Private Educator with a passion for teaching, ideally someone who can tutor Math and Science (in addition to other various subjects) from elementary through middle school levels. The ideal candidate will have a bubbly, energetic personality, and a deep passion for teaching both in a structured, school-like manner using worksheets and curriculum, as well as through creative play. The family values a teacher who is comfortable with math and STEM subjects, as their children are particularly gifted in these areas.

For the family, the ideal educator will be flexible, compassionate, and enthusiastic about creating a structured yet dynamic learning environment. The role will involve one-on-one tutoring, homework assistance, and test prep. The educator will also help develop personalized lesson plans and curriculum, encourage a growth mindset, and adapt lessons based on each child’s unique learning style. Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: 3 children, 8, 6, and 3
• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Preferred,
• Education and developing/implementing curriculum

• Travel: Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Roughly between 7 am to 7 pm, with some days being a split schedule and others being a more typical 9-5. Usually M-F but must be flexible with schedule. Off days may not always be back to back.
• At least 2 years of experience in either a school or as a governess/private educator /teacher/tutor
• Can take ownership and design at-home curriculum for each child based on their level
• Languages: English and French preferably 
• Experience: 5+ Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: High energy, positive attitude, flexible, bubbly, fun-loving
