Job Description:

A warm and welcoming family in Davidsonville, MD, is seeking an experienced and talented Part-Time Chef to help prepare dinners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking and creating delicious meals in a family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dinners for the family, focusing on healthy, balanced meals.
• Plan weekly menus in consultation with the family, considering their preferences.
• Shop for groceries and ingredients as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
• Occasionally prepare meals for special occasions or events.
• Collaborate with the family’s housekeeper and project manager to ensure a smooth household operation.

Schedule:

The family is flexible and is open to two possible schedules:

• Option 1: 3 full days per week
• Option 2: 4-5 days per week for a few hours each day

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a family setting.
• Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a household team.
• Friendly, professional, and reliable.
• Must be able to start immediately.

Additional Information:

• The family consists of four boys and a friendly dog.
• There are no food allergies or dietary restrictions.
• The household also includes a housekeeper and a project manager who coordinate household activities.
