Family Assistant needed in Brooklyn!
Brooklyn, New YorkPrivate family looking hire a warm and experienced Family Assistant in Brooklyn, NY!
The Ideal Candidate: A busy family is looking to hire a valued member of their household. They have 2 children, 8-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy (he is in the home every other week.) Candidate will be well versed in handling Family Assistant tasks such as grocery shopping, returns, pick-ups, scheduling vendors, taking the daughter to dance classes. Part of this role does include being around an 8-year-old- preparing dinner, helping with homework when needed, taking to dance class when needed. Candidate needs to be flexible and happy around children as the role is diverse. This family is looking for their forever hire. They place value on someone who can connect with their family, and daughter since time will be spent around her. Bonus if you are interested in dance! The client is flexible on hours, can offer 30-40 hours a week depending on preference. No major meal prep is needed, they have a chef who comes once a week. They do have a dog.

- Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required,
- Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner,
- Laundry: Family Laundry,Children Laundry Only,
- Errands: Grocery Shopping, package returns, dry cleaning, etc
Position Requirements
- Work Hours: M-F 40 hours a week 10AM-6PM. Can offer less hours if interested in more of a Part Time role. Can also be flexible on scheduled times for the right candidate.
- Languages: English
- Experience: 5 Years of Experience
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Background check upon contingent offer of hire
- Personality Traits: Proactive, neat, positive, warm, enjoys children.
- Salary: $36-$40/hour +
- Living Accommodations: Live Out
- Vacation: 2 weeks PTO
