Position: Child-Friendly Housekeeper

Location: Bronxville, NY

Rate/Benefits: $40/hour; individual health insurance; 2 weeks PTO; annual bonus

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

A warm and organized family is seeking an experienced and child-friendly housekeeper to join their household. The family has a 3-year-old and is expecting a baby. They have a full time Nanny but the ideal candidate will be comfortable working around young children and happy to assist with childcare if/when needed. The home is 5,000 sq ft, requiring attention to detail and efficient cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Full deep cleaning of the 5,000 sq ft home, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining all rooms
• Handling all laundry tasks, including ironing and putting clothes away
• Keeping closets and clothing organized
• Ensuring the home is tidy and well-maintained at all times
• Experience with cleaning products and surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Must be comfortable working around small children and able to assist with basic childcare when necessary
• Running errands as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a housekeeper in a family with small children
• Valid driver’s license and own car for transportation
• A positive attitude and willingness to help out where needed
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to manage household tasks independently
