Weston, CT Principals are looking to hire a reliable and consistent proactive Household Assistant, able to maintain the general tidiness of their home, be able to fully support their 17 year old daughter,  and assist with the executive functioning of the home as their main house is undergoing a remodel.
Must be a clear communicator with a kind disposition, and have the ability to be firm with teenager.
A candidate who has experience working with children with learning diversities such as ADHD and anxiety is a plus.
Someone who can effectively communicate with maintenance, scheduling, and appointments etc.

Position Responsibilities

• Teen Care: (G) 17,  Driving to from various programs, including educational, arts, and athletics. Ensuring school work is completed and their teen is on task. Ability to coordinate with a tutor if needed. Someone experienced working with teens with learning diversities.
• Household Needs: Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping, Maintaining a tidy home. The family has a deep cleaner.  Able to effectively communicate with maintenance, scheduling, and appointments for the residence.
• Pet Care: Not much is needed except to let their dog out in the yard. The family also has a cat.
• Laundry: Yes, Family Laundry
• Errands: Yes, As needed, Dry Cleaners; Post Office, Etc.
• Driving: Yes, Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Flexibility to stay on occasional overnights if needed to watch their teen and care for the pets,  Additional compensation provided.
• Languages: English, Highly Communicative and able to assist vendors, contractors, coordinating as needed
• Experience: Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Background check upon contingent offer of hire
• MUST currently reside within a close proximity to the residence

Position Compensation

• Salary: $36-$40. hour, DOE
