A couple in Palm Beach is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook to maintain their home and prepare healthy meals five days a week. The role is best suited to a reliable and organized individual who can be counted on for consistent quality and thoroughness, as well as flexibility with occasional travel.
**Position Details:**
- **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM
- **Salary:** $80,000/year
- **Travel Requirements:**
- Accompany the couple on occasional trips to New York for up to 2 months.
- Travel with them to the Bahamas for two weeks each month from late October to late May.
- **Flex Periods:** When the couple is traveling (up to 5 months/year), responsibilities are lighter, requiring only two to three visits per week for routine checks, dusting, picking up packages, and other light tasks.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Meal Preparation:**
- Prepare and serve healthy, low-carb lunches and dinners with fresh, whole ingredients—no processed foods.
- Typical lunches: salads with added rotisserie chicken, served around 12:30-1:00 PM.
- Dinners: a main protein (meat) and vegetables with a side salad, served at 6:30 PM.
- Clean the kitchen and dining area after each meal.
- Able to follow recipes and accommodate dietary preferences.
2. **Housekeeping Duties:**
- Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and dining area daily.
- Make the bed each day and change sheets weekly, sending them to the cleaners.
- Clean and organize the bathroom weekly.
- Assist with organizing closets and general home tidiness.
3. **Light Maintenance & Errands During Travel:**
- Ensure the home remains in good condition while the couple is away, including occasional light dusting, package retrieval, and basic checks around the property.
**Qualifications:**
- Experienced in cooking healthy meals from scratch, comfortable with low-carb recipes and fresh ingredients.
- Strong housekeeping skills with an eye for detail.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and organized with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Comfortable with domestic and international travel, with flexibility to accompany the couple as needed.
