Job Title: Full-Time House Manager
Location: Gladwyne, PA
Salary: $100,000/year
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with flexibility as needed)
Position Overview:
A high-net-worth family in Gladwyne, PA is seeking an experienced and meticulous House Manager to oversee and manage various projects, handle construction oversight, and liaise with contractors and vendors. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, project management expertise, and the ability to proactively anticipate needs. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency across the estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage multiple construction projects within the property, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Contractor and Vendor Management: Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors, maintaining effective communication and managing schedules.
- Bill Review and Processing: Receive, review, and organize bills for the estate and other family properties, passing them along to the family office for payment.
- Anticipatory Planning: Proactively identify upcoming needs, potential issues, and next steps to ensure seamless operations.
- Conflict Resolution: Quickly diffuse any challenges or disputes with contractors or vendors to ensure positive working relationships.
- Schedule travel for principle
- Maintain his calendar
- Run errands/ pick up supplies for the house, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Estate Manager, House Manager, or Personal Assistant in a similar role
- Strong understanding of project management principles, particularly within construction and high-end residential settings
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and demands
