Dependable Housekeeper / After-School Nanny Needed in Miami! 

Location: Aventura (Miami) , FL

Schedule: Approximately 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility for occasional extended hours in case of work emergencies - Flexibility is a HUGE requirement for this position due to the nature of the clients jobs. 

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: Starting at $85,000 annually ($30/hour equivalent DOE).
  • Benefits:
    • 3 weeks PTO (2 weeks at the family's discretion, 1 week at your choice).
    • 5 paid sick days.
    • Paid major holidays.
Start Date: Beginning of January - Interviewing ASAP!


Position Summary

We are seeking a highly flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Family Assistant in Aventura, FL, who can provide comprehensive support to a busy household. This role primarily focuses on household management and housekeeping, along with light childcare assistance/transportation. Given the nature of the clients' professions in healthcare, flexibility is essential to accommodate occasional late evenings or emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping:

    • Deep cleaning and maintaining a 2,900 sq. ft. home to a high standard.
    • Laundry, including ironing and organizing clothing.
    • Tidying and organizing household spaces.
    • Managing household supplies and ensuring they are well-stocked.
  • Household Management:

    • Grocery shopping and running errands as needed.
    • Meal prepping lunchboxes for the child, etc.
  • Childcare Assistance:

    • Walk the child to school (5-minute walk) for an 8:00 AM drop-off.
    • Pick the child up at 1:20 PM and drive her to afternoon activities, such as tennis and piano lessons (all within a 5–10-minute drive).
    • Supervise homework and provide minimal guidance.
    • No active childcare (e.g., entertaining or planning activities) is required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Highly Flexible: Capable of adapting to occasional late evenings or emergencies when both parents are delayed at the hospital.
  • Independent and Proactive: Able to manage time effectively while ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Reliable and Organized: Comfortable managing the household with minimal supervision.
  • Child-Friendly: Enjoys working around children and communicates effectively in English (basic conversational level required).
  • Detail-Oriented: Maintains high standards in cleaning and household organization.
  • Background: Background check upon a contingent offer of hire
