A warm and wonderful couple in Larchmont, NY, is seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to join their household team. About the Role:

This role requires someone confident in managing all aspects of the home, from high-level cleaning and organizing to meal preparation. You will be responsible for ensuring the home is impeccably clean, organized, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Level Cleaning: Deep cleaning, dusting, mopping, and proper care for fine furnishings, high-end fabrics, hardwood floors, crystal, and other delicate materials.
  • Laundry & Linens: Wash, fold, iron, and maintain clothing, linens, and fabrics with precision. Proper hanging techniques and expert ironing skills are a huge plus.
  • Meal Prep: Assist with a few dinners during the week and prep snacks, including cutting fruits and vegetables. Learn and accommodate the family’s gluten-free dietary needs (training provided).
  • Pet Care: Provide care for the family’s mini Labradoodle, including occasional walks, trips to the vet and groomer, and companionship. Must love dogs!
  • Errands & Inventory: Handle grocery shopping, pharmacy runs, post office visits, and ensure household supplies are fully stocked.
  • Vendor & Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee vendors or maintenance personnel for household projects or issues, ensuring tasks are completed to satisfaction.
  • Household Organization: Maintain primary living spaces (kitchen, family room, and master bedroom/bath) with extra care, as these are the most used. Other parts of the home (6,000 sq. ft. total) can be addressed less frequently.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Be open to adjusting hours based on the family’s needs, with schedules communicated in advance. Typical hours are guaranteed 40 hours/week, but daily start/end times may vary. Typically schedule will be 8:30/9:00 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM however, there are days they may need you from 10:00/10:30 AM to 6:00/7:00 PM.

  • A self-starter who is resourceful, reliable, and proactive.
  • Expertise in treating high-end furnishings, fabrics, and appliances with care.
  • Confident in the kitchen, with light cooking and food prep skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Comfortable driving (must have your own car).
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communicator with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and highly capable of managing the home independently.

Benefits:

  • Salary: $35–40/hour, on payroll (DOE, negotiable for the right candidate).
  • Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours/week on payroll.
