Job Description: Night NCS for Newborn Girl 5 nghts Per Week, for 4-6 weeks)
Huntington, NY family is seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Nurse to care for their newborn daughter during the night. Mom is recovering from postpartum complications and requires additional support.
Looking for someone reliable, nurturing, and knowledgeable about newborn care to ensure both our baby’s comfort and safety and to provide relief for the family during this time.
Responsibilities:
- Feeding and bottle preparation (or assisting with breastfeeding support as needed)
- Diaper changes and ensuring hygiene needs are met
- Monitoring the baby’s sleep and ensuring she is safe and comfortable
- Burping, soothing, and putting the baby back to sleep during wake-ups
- Sterilizing bottles, pacifiers, and baby feeding accessories
- Tracking feeding, sleeping, and diaper changes to maintain a clear schedule
- Identifying and addressing signs of discomfort, such as colic or reflux
- Offering additional support to the family to ease the mother's recovery process
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a night nurse or caring for newborns professionally
- Knowledgeable about infant sleep patterns, safety guidelines, and newborn care
- Patient, attentive, and calm under pressure
- Up-to-date CPR and first aid certification for infants
- Strong communication skills to provide updates to the family
- Must be passionate about caring for newborns while supporting a family through recovery
- Calm demeanor, excellent communication, attention to detail, and a warm, nurturing attitude
- Flexibility, discretion

Position Compensation
- Salary: $40-45.hr
