Private family looking hire a Live-In Nanny/House Manager in Greenwich, CT!

The Ideal Candidate: The client is seeking a reliable, organized, and caring Nanny/House Manager to support the daily needs of their household and (3) children. All children are in school/daycare. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a keen eye for organization, and the ability to efficiently manage household tasks. In the morning, the Nanny will be responsible for packing lunches, waking and dressing the children, and transporting them to school or daycare.

Throughout the day, the duties will be to maintain cleanliness in the home by performing light tidying duties, such as doing laundry, dishes, and wiping down kitchen counters, while more formal cleaning (floors, bathrooms, etc.) is handled by cleaners bi-weekly.

In the afternoon, the Nanny will pick the children up from school or daycare and bring them home for dinner and baths. There is extracurricular activities on certain days which the nanny will also need to transport the child to and from. Additional duties may include running errands and light grocery shopping as needed.

The client is looking for someone who truly enjoys being around children and is adept at organizing household spaces. A strong ability to create a tidy and structured environment would be highly appreciated, as well as the flexibility to handle the daily routine and occasional ad-hoc tasks. Prior experience in childcare or a similar role is preferred, along with a reliable vehicle for transportation and a positive, nurturing attitude. No pets in the home due to allergies. Current Staff: House keeper comes every other week to do a full house clean (floors, bathrooms, etc.)
Position Responsibilities

  • Childcare: 3 Children, Ages 1.5, 3, 9.5 years old
  • Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required,
  • Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner,Childrens Meals Only,
  • Laundry: Family Laundry,
  • Errands: Weekly Grocery Shopping
  • Driving: Required
  • Travel: No Travel Required
Position Requirements
  • Work Hours: - The position is Monday-Friday. 
  • Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday- 7-10AM, break in the middle of the day, 5PM-8PM.
  • Wednesday- 7-10AM, 2-8PM
  • Friday 7AM-10AM
 
  • Languages:English
  • Experience: 5 Years of Experience
  • References: Minimum of 2 References
  • Background: Background check upon contingent offer of hire

Position Compensation
  • Salary: $30/hour+ Depending on experience.
  • Living Accommodations: Live In or Live Out
  • Vacation: 2 weeks PTO
