A private family currently living between Jackson, WY, and the West Village, NY is looking to hire Beginning March 1, 2025, a SMART NY Nanny/Educator for their children (ahead of grade level) ages 6 and 8 years old. They are homeschooled for part of the school year, and they'll need someone who can work on their version of home-school, keeping the children focused, with NO screentime, exceeding educational goals, working on handwriting skills, planning curriculum and school work, and actively engaging in fun and informative activities/museum outings, etc.
Ideally, this candidate will help with occasional care for their baby who will be when mom steps out for an exercise class.

The family is easygoing however it is important to know they will need someone who will 100% not be on their phone while with the children. They also use only organic products so the candidate will wear no perfumes, fragrances, or scented lotions while with the family.

Requested Duration:
Beginning March 1 in Tribeca, NY ***For the right he family the family will consider retaining the candidate prior to a March 2025 Start Date 
return to Jackson, WY with the family for July and August, or once it gets hot. 
If the fit is right there is the potential that this 4-6 month hire can be a long-term hire. The family might even eventually wind up in Austin, Texas at some point, but will always return to Tribeca, NY.

Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: EDUCATE, home-school aged very sweet, easy, and super-great kids!  Both children are learning ahead of grade level. Their daughter needs help with handwriting, and might potentially need occupational therapy. Occasional help with the baby if mom steps out for an exercise class. 
• Cooking: Children's Meals Only

Position Compensation

• Salary: $40-$50.hour + DOE, guaranteed 40 hours
