Housekeeper for Private Residence - Zionsville, Indiana

About the Family
The family consists of a couple, in a fully staffed home. They live on a sprawling 110-acre property, which includes several structures such as a 15,000 sqft primary residence, guest house, a barn with a sports pavilion, an upcoming indoor/outdoor pool pavilion. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (35 hours per week)
Occasional Travel: 1-2 times per year to the family’s lake home in KY (2-hour drive.)

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the primary residence, guest house, barn/sports pavilion, and other structures on the property.
• Tasks include mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, cleaning mirrors, sanitizing bathrooms, and deep cleaning the fridge and pantry.
• Strip and make beds, wash, dry, fold, and put away clothes, towels, and linens.
• Ironing (preferred, but not required).
• Track and manage household cleaning supplies, paper products, and other consumables.
• Regularly assess household inventory, ensuring it is stocked as needed.
• Provide care for three cats and two dogs, including walking the pets and maintaining their areas (as needed)
• On occasion, run household errands such as grocery shopping and picking up supplies.
• Help with light organizational tasks
• Work closely with the Household Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, including assisting with scheduling and any special tasks as needed.

Compensation: $35/hour or $63,700/year (gross)

Ideal Candidate

• At least 3 years of experience as a housekeeper, ideally in large or private estates. Experience with fine art and valuable furnishings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling valuable items and sensitive household matters.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable with technology (smartphones, group messaging apps, smart TVs, etc.) and willing to learn new systems as needed.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player with other household staff.
• Comfortable caring for and interacting with pets, including walking dogs and cleaning up after them.
• Trustworthy, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to maintain a friendly and positive attitude, ensuring a pleasant environment for the family.
