Location: Roslindale, Boston, MA
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000/year


About the Role
I am a former tech CEO and recent widow seeking a highly capable, organized, and trustworthy individual to assist in managing various aspects of my personal and professional life. This hybrid role blends elements of a personal assistant and family office assistant. The work will be a combination of in-person support at my Roslindale home and remote tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Property and Project Management

    • Oversee the management of a rental property.
    • Support construction and logistics for a vacation home project.
  2. Scheduling and Coordination

    • Schedule meetings with attorneys, consultants, and other professionals for estate and right-of-way matters.
    • Organize and manage my calendar, ensuring priorities are addressed.
  3. Financial and Administrative Tasks

    • Collect, organize, and prepare tax documents for my accountant.
    • Manage household bills, budgets, and financial record-keeping.
  4. Household and Vendor Management

    • Coordinate household maintenance, vendors, and services.
    • Order groceries and manage inventory for household supplies.
  5. Event and Meeting Planning

    • Assist with planning and executing small events or meetings as needed.
  6. Extended Family Support

    • Provide occasional support with my child’s rental property and family vacation property management if time permits.

  • Discretion and Trustworthiness: Ability to handle sensitive personal and business information with absolute confidentiality.
  • Organized and Self-Directed: Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using spreadsheets, email, and communication tools to streamline workflows.
  • Strong Communicator: Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Financial Acumen: Familiarity with budgeting, bill payment, and record-keeping.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-time or near full-time, with flexibility. Some in-person days at my Roslindale home and other tasks performed remotely.
  • Work Environment: This is not a live-in role. You will be my sole staff member, so a proactive and adaptable approach is essential.
