A loving and dynamic polyamorous family in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is seeking a caring, reliable, and proactive Part-Time Nanny to assist with their 8-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-aged children, a warm personality, and a talent for fostering an enriching and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- School Pick-Up: Pick up the child from her school in Williamsburg promptly at 3 PM.
- After-School Activities: Escort her to scheduled after-school activities and playdates, ensuring her safety and supervision at all times.
- Homework Help: Provide guidance and support with homework, encouraging her learning and independence.
- Additional Support (Optional): For candidates interested in extra hours, the family is open to adding responsibilities such as:
- Cooking: Preparing simple, healthy meals or snacks.
- Household Assistance: Offering light organizational support at one of the family’s two residences in Greenpoint.
Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience as a nanny or childcare provider for school-aged children.
- Transportation Savvy: Familiarity with navigating Brooklyn (Williamsburg/Greenpoint area) safely and efficiently.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Homework Support: Comfortable assisting with elementary school-level homework.
- Cooking Skills (Optional): An interest in preparing simple, nutritious meals is a plus.
- Flexibility: Open to occasional adjustments in schedule if needed.
- Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Schedule
