Housekeeper/Cook for a busy Brooklyn-based family!
 

The Ideal Candidate: Live-out housekeeper/cook for a busy Brooklyn-based family with 3 boys at home, ages 10-13.  Daily requirements include full-charge housekeeping for townhouse, laundry/ironing, cooking nightly family-style dinners, and occasional assistance with kids and small dog.  Looking for someone who is proactive, willing to help with whatever needs doing, can intelligently interact with household vendors, has a warm personality, and truly loves this kind of work.  Mom is home and there is an afternoon babysitter, but candidates must be comfortable helping with kids as needed.  Must be a meticulous housekeeper and laundress, and have several years' experience in high-end households that includes regularly cooking for families (not just for children).  This position will be paid via Payroll/W2.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 12:00-8:00 (32 hours per week).

$35-$40/hr. gross, DOE.

Responsibilities:
-       Daily, full-charge housekeeping and organizing for a large townhouse, must be able to go up and down stairs.
-       Daily laundry for family (some ironing required)
-       Daily preparation of breakfast for children 
-       Daily preparation of healthy dinner for entire family (able to follow provided recipes)
-       Daily dog walking
-       Occasional packing and unpacking for family travel
-       Regular tracking of household inventory (groceries


What Works Best for Family: A meticulous housekeeper, with 5+ years’ experience in high-end, formal homes. The client has a true eye for details and wants someone who can withhold that standard. A very strong family-style cook, with 3+ years’ experience cooking for families. Seeking a long-term role and eager to build a relationship with a family

Position Compensation

• Salary: $35-$40/hour
