Expert House Manager/Nanny Needed – Full-Time, Long-Term Role in Gig Harbor, WA

Location: Gig Harbor, WA

Schedule:

• Flexible for the right person, official schedule to be agreed upon.
• Monday through Friday: Split shift schedule (approximately 7:30–10:30 AM and 3:00–8:30 PM).
• Saturdays: Support with morning activities is appreciated—if Saturdays are worked, another day off during the week can be arranged.
• Full-Time: Approximately 40 hours per week.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $25–$35+/hour, depending on experience.

Position Overview:

A busy and active family of five in Gig Harbor, WA, is seeking a full-time, long-term Household Manager/Nanny to help with household organization, childcare support (Mom will provide main child care), and day-to-day management of the home. The family has three boys (ages 6, 5, and 1.5 years), and the role will involve working closely with a busy stay-at-home mom to streamline their household, maintain organization, and support the children’s daily routines.

The ideal candidate will bring structure, organization, and proactivity to the household while remaining flexible and adaptable to the family’s dynamic needs. The father has a sporadic schedule, so reliability is crucial. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a passion for both household management and childcare.

Responsibilities:

Household Management & Organization:

• Assist with unpacking and organizing after a recent cross-country move.
• Implement and maintain long-term organizational systems for the home.
• Seasonal and age-appropriate child clothing storage and rotation.
• Declutter and manage household items, including donations and selling when necessary.
• Light housekeeping, including emptying the dishwasher, flipping laundry, and maintaining household order.
• Assist with planning and managing the household’s daily and weekly schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors, deliveries, and household errands as needed.

Childcare Support:

• Provide occasional care for the 1.5-year-old, particularly during school pickups and errands.
• Assist with morning routines, after-school transitions, and bedtime.
• Transport children to and from school or extracurricular activities when needed.
• Engage with the children in a fun, active, and patient manner, fostering a positive and structured environment.

• Valiv passport is a huge plus as the client would love someone willing to travel with the family including an annual trip to Greece.
