Job Description:
A private family in Palm Beach is seeking a full-time experienced gardener to maintain and oversee the care of their 3.5-acre oceanfront estate. The ideal candidate will have strong horticultural knowledge, the ability to diagnose plant health issues, and expertise in trimming, spraying, and general landscape maintenance. This is a year-round position requiring dedication and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections of the property’s 100+ planted plants to monitor their health and identify issues such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.

• Perform pruning and trimming as needed, ensuring optimal growth and aesthetics.

• Apply appropriate fertilizers and pest control treatments to maintain a thriving landscape.

• Ensure proper irrigation and watering schedules to accommodate Florida’s climate.

• Maintain the grounds in pristine condition, including pathways, garden beds, and ornamental plants.

• Identify and recommend necessary replacements or enhancements to improve the overall landscape.

• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Work independently while collaborating with other estate staff as needed.

• Provide seasonal adjustments and proactive plant care based on weather conditions.
