Nanny – Chelsea, Manhattan

A loving mother in Chelsea, Manhattan, is seeking a dedicated nanny to provide care and support for her two children, ages 6 and 8.

Ideal Candidate:

The perfect nanny is energetic, positive, and genuinely enjoys working with children. Daily responsibilities include  grocery shopping, children’s laundry, and general tidying. After school, duties include preparing snacks, coordinating activities, assisting with homework, and starting dinner. Evenings are filled with family time, including board games, reading, and bedtime routines.

Position Details:

• Duration: Long-term (10 years preferred)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00PM-8:00PM, Saturdays- 9:00AM-5:00PM
• Compensation: $35-$40 per hour- depending on experience 
• Location: Live-out position

Responsibilities:

• Care for two children, ages 6 & 8
• Prepare children’s meals and assist with family dinner prep
• Manage children’s laundry
• Maintain a tidy home and assist with shared housekeeping tasks
• Run weekly grocery errands
• Drive children as needed
• Travel internationally with the family when required

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (Spanish or Mandarin a plus but not required)
• Prior childcare experience
• Minimum of two references
• Background check required upon contingent offer
• Strong swimming skills
• Outgoing, energetic, and positive personality
