Job Description: Family Personal Assistant needed in Northern VA.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trustworthy individual to serve as a Family Personal Assistant. This role will involve a combination of personal assistant duties and family support, with a focus on assisting a busy household.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Assistant Tasks (70% of the role):
- Assist with managing work-related proposals, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
- Help plan and organize family dinners, parties, and vacations.
- Handle errands such as grocery shopping, picking up household supplies, and organizing deliveries.
- Provide support with meal planning, cooking, meal prepping, and ordering food when necessary.
- Pay bills, maintain household budget, and track expenses.
- Communicate effectively with the family to ensure smooth daily operations.
Family Assistant Tasks (30% of the role):
- Drive and accompany the child to school in the mornings, ensuring timely arrival.
- Prepare the child's lunch and snacks for school.- he is Type 1 Diabetic. Someone who has experience with this or willingness to learn is needed.
- Set up and plan fun and educational activities for the child.
- Supervise the child after school, assisting with homework, ensuring tasks are completed, and keeping a watchful eye during the day.
- Help organize family outings, vacations, and other events.
- Must be able to travel with the family 1-2 weeks per year for work trips.
- Occasionally assist with light household chores as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Communication Skills: Must be responsive to texts, calls, and any requests, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times.
- Flexibility: Ability to adjust plans and tasks as needed, especially when supporting the child’s school schedule and extracurricular activities.
- Respectful and Hardworking: A strong sense of respect for the family, demonstrating professionalism and reliability in every aspect of the job.
- Proactive and Organized: Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, keeping the household running smoothly.
- Experience with Children: Comfortable supervising and assisting with a child’s routine, including helping with homework and ensuring a positive, engaging environment.

Position Compensation
- Salary: $35-$45/hour, legal overtime rate will be paid for any hours over 40/hours.
