Overview:
As the full-time Housekeeper for a Manhattan residence, you will lead the charge in maintaining the home's pristine condition through meticulous cleaning and organization. Reporting directly to the House Manager, you will collaborate seamlessly with fellow staff members and providing support to the chef when required. Additionally, occasionally throughout the year and during the summer months, you will be expected to reside and work in the Hamptons home, overseeing daily cleaning, walking the dog up to three times a day, and contributing to household tasks during events or guest visits. Your professionalism, flexibility, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence are key attributes that will ensure the seamless execution of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
● Organize and maintain the home to the highest standards of cleanliness and order.
● Assist with occasional errands and managing household inventories, including cleaning supplies, household toiletries (including skincare products and medications), daily groceries, and pantry items, and notify the House Manager when replenishments are needed.
● Report directly to the House Manager, providing regular updates on the status of household tasks.
● Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless coordination of responsibilities.
● Provide support to the chef for special events as requested, including meal preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance.
● Assume laundry and cleaning responsibilities of the Laundress/Housekeeper when she is sick or on vacation, including a mid-day dog walk if the dog walker is unable to assume this.
● Manage a cleaning schedule, including routine tasks and deep-cleaning projects, and communicate this schedule to the House Manager.
● Place and manage grocery orders for refrigerator and kitchen pantry items, primarily on Mondays, with occasional follow-ups on Fridays. Coordinate with their long-term Housekeeper, who handles produce throughout the week, to ensure seamless inventory management and minimize small-batch orders. Communicate effectively with the House Manager regarding any last-minute needs or special requests.
● Address minor maintenance issues (e.g., light bulb replacement) and report larger issues to the House Manager.
● Assist during special events or family gatherings with setup, service, and cleanup as requested.
● Provide feedback or suggestions for improving household operations to the House Manager.
Manhattan: Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms and living spaces in the Manhattan apartment, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, TV rooms, dining room, wine cellar, and additional apartment.
Hamptons:
MUST have Flexibility and the ability to set up before Principals arrive
Live and work in the Hamptons residence during the summer and occasionally throughout the year with advance request and a mutually agreed upon schedule; the expectation is for full-time presence (M-F) during the month of summer months
● Walk the dog three times a day and manage two feedings, ensuring the pet's well-being.
● Perform cleaning duties and manage laundry tasks.
● Assist with dinners and household responsibilities during guest visits or events.
● Work cooperatively with any additional help.
●Train additional help to keep the house well organized.
Expectations:
● Maintain professionalism and discretion at all times.
● Adhere to scheduled working hours, Monday- Friday 9am-5pm when working at the Manhattan residence and any mutually agreed upon Hamptons schedules as they are finalized.
● Exhibit flexibility to accommodate occasional changes in routine or additional tasks as needed.
● Maintain a high level of attention to detail and a standard of cleanliness.

Dog: 1 (French Pitbull, sleeps all day, stays to herself, & very sweet)
Current Staff: 2 Housekeepers in the City, 1 HK in Hamptons 1 kitchen support, and a Family Assistant
The position ia a Live Out position, except while in the Hamptons. A private bedroom and shared bathroom with 1 other household staff member will be provided. Transportation to/from included.
