Executive Housekeeper – Homewood, MD (Baltimore Area)

We are seeking a dedicated Executive Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness, organization, and overall maintenance of a five-bedroom residence. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can ensure a well-run household while upholding the highest standards of discretion and service.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 25–30 hours per week (flexible start time, can begin at 10 AM).
- Compensation: $60K+ per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
- Location: Homewood, MD (Baltimore area).
Key Responsibilities:
Household Management:
- Oversee and manage all housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Develop and follow structured cleaning schedules while adapting to household needs.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and maintenance staff for home upkeep and repairs.
- Supervise maintenance and service visits to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Support events hosted at the residence, including setup and post-event clean-up (occasional evenings/weekends required).
- Maintain inventory of household supplies and manage procurement.
- Handle household errands, including shopping and event-related tasks.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of fine furnishings, artwork, and luxury finishes.
- Implement and maintain effective organizational systems within the home.
Housekeeping & Cleaning Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain an orderly and well-kept environment.
- Manage seasonal deep-cleaning projects.
- Maintain high hygiene standards throughout the residence.
Personal Housekeeping Duties:
- Handle all laundry and linen care, including ironing, folding, and wardrobe organization.
- Assist with personal laundry and upkeep of the principles personal spaces.
- Support guest accommodations and event-related preparations as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-profile residence or luxury hospitality setting.
- Strong discretion and confidentiality in handling private household matters.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience caring for fine furnishings, artwork, and delicate materials.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required for running errands (mileage reimbursed).
