The Ideal Candidate: We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper Assistant for a prestigious Townhouse in the West Village. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing similar properties and must be adept at navigating stairs, ensuring the smooth operation of a household. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. The role involves deep cleaning, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining a semi-formal setting with expensive furniture, antiques, silver, crystal, brass tables, and fin China. The household is not overly busy, with grown kids in college. The successful candidate should be familiar with handling a household manual, managing a grocery list, and demonstrating a soft-spoken personality. The candidate will assist the head housekeeper. This home is looking for a team player. Two hypoallergenic cats are part of the household, as well as a lab dog who spends most of the day at doggy day camp, requiring occasional pick-up, feeding, and care.
