$70,000+ per year (DOE) | 40 hours/week | Travel Required (Summer in South Carolina)

A warm and welcoming family in Society Hill, Philadelphia is seeking a reliable, proactive, and organized Full-Time Family Assistant to support their household and help care for their 5-year-old daughter. About the Family:

  • Dad works a demanding job and commutes frequently to New York City.

  • Mom is based at home and actively involved in daily family life.

  • Their 5-year-old daughter attends school a few days a week and enjoys a structured, engaging routine.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week (typically Monday–Friday, with occasional flexibility).

  • Compensation: $70,000+ annually, depending on experience.

  • Additional benefits to be discussed with qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-appropriate childcare, including school drop-off/pick-up and activity planning.

  • Assist with managing household tasks such as errands, grocery shopping, and organizing.

  • Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal/snack prep as needed.

  • Maintain the family's schedule and assist with calendar coordination and travel planning.

  • Be a warm and supportive presence to both child and parents, offering flexibility where needed.

  • Travel with the family to their second home in South Carolina during the summer (approximately July through September).

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience as a nanny or family/personal assistant.

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing a household alongside a stay-at-home parent.

  • Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing schedules.

  • A valid driver’s license (vehicle provided or mileage reimbursed, as applicable).

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

This is a ideally a long-term opportunity for someone looking to build a close working relationship with a thoughtful and appreciative family, but the family would also consider someone who can at least do the summer in South Carolina.
