Our client, a busy high-end Design Firm. is seeking a talented and creative Interior Decorator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to transform spaces into aesthetically pleasing and functional areas that reflect the style and preferences of our clients. As an Interior Decorator, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and vision, providing expert guidance on color schemes, furniture selection, and overall design concepts. Your goal will be to create unique spaces that enhance the quality of life and reflect our clients' tastes while adhering to budgetary constraints. This position requires a keen eye for detail, artistic flair, and an understanding of the latest trends in interior design. You will be involved in the entire design process, from conceptual development to the final installation. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and various vendors to ensure that each project runs smoothly and is executed to the highest standards. Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to determine their interior design needs and preferences.
  • Develop design concepts and create mood boards that reflect client vision.
  • Select color palettes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories to create harmonious interiors.
  • Prepare detailed floor plans and design sketches to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Source materials, furniture, and decor items from various suppliers and vendors.
  • Oversee the installation and styling of interior spaces to ensure alignment with design plans.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Interior Decorator or similar role with a strong portfolio.
  • Aesthetic vision and creativity to design captivating spaces.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and sustainable practices.
  • A degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation

        $110,000 - $115,000
        Health Benefits (50% of the plan covered by the employer)
        Vacation time
