You will essentially "step into mom’s shoes" during her surgery and recovery.
Morning Routine:

Walk both children to school drop-off (2 blocks, ~6-minute walk).
Return with the 2-year-old and supervise playtime (indoors or outside in the backyard playset).
Midday:
Serve a simple lunch to the toddler.
Supervise nap (approximately 12–2 PM).
Use nap time to handle household tasks, including:
Children’s laundry
Dishes and kitchen tidying
Toy pickup and general organization
Occasional errands (dry cleaners, post office, etc.)
Afternoon:
Provide a snack after nap.
Walk to pick up the 7-year-old at 3:55 PM.
Continue with light childcare and housekeeping duties until 5:30 PM.
Full housekeeping throughout the week (dishes, tidying, kitchen upkeep)
Children’s laundry only
General home organization and cleanliness
No deep cleaning required
Prepare simple, plain meals for the children
Accommodate special dietary restrictions as needed (guidance will be provided)
Occasional driving for errands with the 2-year-old (car provided with installed car seat)
Experienced (minimum 5 years in similar nanny/housekeeper roles)
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Warm, nurturing, and communicative with both children and adults
Energetic and enjoys staying busy
Able to work independently while following the family’s routines

Parent will be present but recovering from surgery from 5/20 onward.
Emergency contacts are nearby in case of urgent needs.
Interviews to be held ASAP for a prompt hire.
