Our LA based client is looking for a House Manager for their additional residence in Montecito, CA. The home is 11,000 square feet. They are looking for a professional and organized house manager to oversee daily household operations. You will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating maintenance / vendors, managing household inventories, and ensuring the home runs efficiently and comfortably. The ideal candidate is discreet, detail-oriented, and has experience managing upscale residences. The family only visits the home about 1 month out of the year so you will not see them very often and the home will be vacant most of the time.
This position is Monday - Friday...9am - 5pm.
House Manager Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise a Housekeeper
- Schedule and oversee household maintenance and repairs
- Manage household inventory, supplies, and grocery procurement
- Coordinate events, guests, and travel arrangements
- Monitor and maintain household budgets and expenses
- Ensure the home is well-maintained, clean, and guest-ready
- Liaise with contractors, service providers, and vendors
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting

Compensation
