Job Title: Full-Time Property Manager – Manhattan & Bedford, NY
Location: Primarily Manhattan, with occasional travel to Bedford, NY
Schedule: Full-Time (some flexibility required)
Compensation: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience


Overview:

A dynamic, hands-on Property Manager is sought to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a private residence in Manhattan, with occasional oversight of a second property in Bedford, NY. The homeowners are busy co-founders with demanding schedules and frequent travel, so reliability, discretion, and proactivity are essential.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who is comfortable managing household operations, coordinating vendors, driving principals, running personal errands, and being a key support person for the household.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Oversight:
    Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Manhattan residence and periodic check-ins/coordination at the Bedford property.

  • Vendor Management:
    Schedule, oversee, and follow up with maintenance crews, landscapers, cleaners, HVAC technicians, and other service providers. Obtain estimates, ensure quality of work, and manage timelines.

  • General Repairs & Maintenance:
    Perform basic hands-on troubleshooting and repairs (e.g., changing filters, light bulbs, fixing minor issues) and report larger issues to appropriate professionals.

  • Personal Assistance:
    Run errands, manage deliveries, assist with grocery shopping, and coordinate appointments for the principals.

  • Driving:
    Occasionally drive the principals to and from meetings, the airport, or local destinations.

  • Household Organization:
    Maintain household inventory, handle special requests, and provide support as needed, ensuring a seamless, well-run home environment.

  • Communication & Scheduling:
    Maintain open and professional communication with homeowners, vendors, and any other household staff. Coordinate service appointments and property-related schedules.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role (property management, estate management, or high-level personal assisting)

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve household issues independently

  • Strong vendor coordination and communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Discreet, professional, and trustworthy

  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on tasks

  • Flexibility to travel to the Bedford, NY property as needed

  • Tech-savvy (comfortable using email, calendar apps, messaging, etc.)

  • Ability to anticipate needs and act proactively


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of NYC service providers and vendor network

  • Experience working in a high-profile or high-net-worth household

  • Basic handyman skills a strong plus
