A warm, professional family in Los Angeles is seeking a full-time live-in nanny to care for their young child with a strong focus on bilingual (Japanese-English) language development and overall enrichment. The ideal candidate is experienced, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood development, with a deep understanding of both Japanese and American cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for a young child

• Support bilingual language development in Japanese and English through daily routines, conversation, play, and reading

• Plan and implement enriching educational activities, structured routines, and creative play

• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times

• Work collaboratively with parents and additional household staff to ensure consistent care and communication

• Travel with the family as needed (both domestically and internationally)

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Japanese and English (spoken and written)

• Prior experience in private, full-time childcare, ideally in a live-in role

• Emotionally intelligent and culturally sensitive

• Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities

• Background or coursework in early childhood education is a strong plus

• Must have a valid passport and flexibility to travel as required

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

• Fully authorized to work in the U.S.
