Job Title: Cook/Driver
Location: Potomac, MD
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Rate: $35 - $40 per hour

Overview:
A warm and respectful couple in Potomac is seeking a reliable and professional Cook/Driver to join their household team. This is a dual-role position for someone who enjoys cooking simple, healthy meals and is also comfortable running errands and providing local transportation. The ideal candidate is discreet, efficient, and respectful of personal space and household routines.

Key Responsibilities:

Cooking & Meal Support

• Prepare and serve simple, fresh, and healthy lunches and dinners (e.g., chicken, fish, pasta, vegetables, salads, soups, etc).

• Set the table and serve meals when needed; must know basic table service etiquette.

• Clean up after cooking and leave the kitchen tidy.

• Occasionally prepare meals for small gatherings (up to 6 people).

• Flexibility is appreciated when the family dines out or hosts.

Driving & Errands

• Drive family members to doctor’s appointments and other scheduled outings; wait and return them home.

• Run general errands, such as grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, and other household needs.

• Keep track of supplies and communicate when pantry items need restocking.

• The family provides several cars for work-related use—no need to use your personal vehicle.

Ideal Candidate:

• Someone who truly enjoys cooking but does not need to be a professionally trained chef.

• Comfortable in a support role and happy to help where needed.

• Discreet, respectful, not overly chatty, and mindful of boundaries.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional in both demeanor and appearance.

• Flexibility and a team-player mindset are essential—family has a full-time, live-in housekeeper.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
