Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Family is open to alternative schedules of 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Duration: 9 months or long term if you are open to having the summer off

Overview:
A private family in Haverford, PA is seeking a warm, structured, and engaging After-School Nanny to care for their two elementary-aged children. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a calm, tech-free environment and has a creative approach to managing picky eaters. In addition to after-school care, the position includes light housekeeping and children’s laundry prior to their arrival home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive children from the school bus (around 4:00 PM)

• Plan and engage in activities without screen time (crafts, outdoor play, games, reading)

• Assist with light homework and academic support

• Prepare and serve children’s meals (around 6:30 PM)

• Help with the bedtime routine (starting around 7:30 PM)

• Light housekeeping (tidying kitchen, living areas, etc.)

• Children’s laundry only

Position Details:

• Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00–8:00 PM (flexible to 3:00–8:00 PM or 4:00–8:00 PM)

• Pets: 1 dog, 1 cat

• Errands: None

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 references

• Background check required upon offer

• Prior childcare experience required

• Self-starter, nurturing, dependable, and creative

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30–$35/hour, based on experience
