A private family is seeking a professional, experienced, and proactive Property Manager to oversee their primary residence in Manhasset, Long Island, and a secondary apartment in Manhattan. This role requires a detail-oriented, discreet, and highly organized individual with prior experience managing formal homes and working alongside household staff
 
The ideal candidate would be proactive, takes initiative, reliable. You will be required to be on site in either Manhasset, LI or Manhattan, NY at any time. You must be available during work hours (virtually or in person) and after hours if there are emergencies. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of both properties
  • Manage vendors and service providers (landscapers, cleaners, HVAC, contractors, etc.)
  • Supervise household staff and coordinate schedules and responsibilities
  • Ensure both homes are well-stocked, clean, and guest-ready at all times
  • Oversee security systems, home technology, and maintenance schedules
  • Track household expenses, invoices, and vendor contracts
  • Coordinate events, appointments, and seasonal preparations for each property
  • Act as liaison between the principals and household/service staff
  • Manage household inventory and purchases
  • Maintain a calendar of property-related tasks and renewals. 
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a similar role for a private family or formal household (At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable managing home systems and maintenance records. Excel experience is a plus!
  • Fluent in Spanish (Preferred) 
  • NYC/Long Island-based and comfortable traveling between both homes as needed 
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and solution-oriented
