Afternoon Nanny/Family Assistant – Weston, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (30 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP! July 29, 2025
Compensation: $30–$40/hour (based on experience) + mileage reimbursement
Location: Weston, CT

A warm, respectful single father in Weston, CT is seeking a reliable, nurturing, and experienced Nanny/Family Assistant to join his family and provide structure, care, and support during the busy afternoon and evening hours. This role is ideal for someone who thrives wearing multiple hats—from helping with teen schedules to maintaining a smooth-running household.

About the Role

This is a true hybrid position focused on childcarelight housekeepingmeal preparationerrands, and dog care. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and deeply committed to supporting a family long-term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving two children (ages 13 & 15) to and from activities and school (Weston Public Schools)

  • Light housekeeping (dishes, tidying, laundry for the children; laundry for dad is a plus)

  • Grocery shopping and running errands (family credit card provided)

  • Preparing a simple nutritious, balanced family dinner daily (e.g., starch/veggie/protein—not looking for a chef)

  • Caring for the family’s small dog (daily feeding/watering; occasional vet visits)

  • Occasional house-sitting and dog care when the family travels

  • Reliable vehicle and clean driving record (mileage reimbursed)

Additional Details

  • Bi-weekly house cleaner already in place — only light household cleaning expected

  • PTO: 2 weeks vacation annually (after one year); total time off must not exceed 14 days per year because there isn't additional coverage

  • Paid major holidays (approx. 8): New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), and Christmas (2 days)

  • Candidate must be able to commit to no more than 14 days off annually, total due to lack of coverage

  • Position is long-term (1–2 year commitment required)
