Overview: A loving family is seeking a dedicated, professional full-time nanny to care for their two children, ages 3.5 years and 1.5 years. This is a long-term position for a career nanny who is passionate about childcare and early childhood development. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, calm, and experienced in working with multiple young children. The family values a candidate who can create a stimulating, enriching environment and actively engage their children in educational play, particularly Montessori-inspired activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time care for the 1.5-year-old during the day, focusing on developmentally appropriate activities that encourage growth in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional development.
• Care for the 3.5-year-old in the afternoons after school (school hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM), planning engaging and creative activities that encourage learning and play.
• Use positive discipline techniques to handle toddler temper tantrums, focusing on verbal communication and helping the children process their emotions calmly and effectively.
• Incorporate Montessori principles and other educational play approaches into daily routines, avoiding screen time and fostering an environment of exploration and creativity.
• Plan and organize crafts, games, and other activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development.

Household Support:

• Proactively restock and manage children’s supplies, including diapers, wipes, snacks, and other essential items, ensuring the household runs smoothly.
• Keep children’s play areas and rooms tidy and organized.
• Communicate with parents about the children's needs and any household items that need replenishment.

Position Compensation
