Position: Full-Time Housekeeper Location: Newtown, Pennsylvania- TO START FEBRUARY 2025

Job Summary: A private family is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain their beautiful home in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have previous full-time experience cleaning large private homes, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a keen eye for detail. The primary responsibilities will include laundry, general cleaning, organizing, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the house. The successful candidate will be a dedicated and professional individual who is family and kid-friendly, as well as energetic and enthusiastic about their work.

Responsibilities:

1. Laundry: Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes.
2. Cleaning: Vacuum, mop, and wash floors; clean countertops and appliances; and ensure thorough cleaning of bathrooms.
3. Bedding: Make beds daily and change sheets once a week.
4. Dishwashing: Empty dishwashers regularly and ensure clean dishes are put away.
5. Organization: Light organizing tasks, including putting away toys and maintaining an orderly environment.
6. Basement Cleaning: Clean the basement once per week, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
7. Additional Duties: Perform any other household cleaning tasks as required.

About the Family:

• Adults: 2 
• Children: 3 (10 -year-old twin boys, 7-year-old girl)
• Dogs: 2 friendly older dogs
• Current Staff: Full-time nanny
• Home Size: 15,000 square feet

Requirements:

• Work Hours: Monday-Friday, flexible hours between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. The family is open to 5 or 6 days a week - 40 hours
• Language: Fluency in English.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with full-time housekeeping in larger homes.
• References: Minimum of 2 professional references.
• Background Check: Successful completion of stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk up and down stairs several times a day.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $40-$45 per hour (dependent on experience).
• Stay Bonus: $10,000 after 4 years of employment.
• Living Accommodations: Live-out position.
• Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation.
• Holidays: Major holidays off with pay.
