Part-Time Family Assistant — Immediate Hire! 
Help a Family Get Organized Before & During a Home Renovation!

Location: Dublin, OH

A warm, welcoming family is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Family Assistant to help them prepare for and navigate an upcoming home renovation starting in early August 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoys creating order out of chaos — all while being part of a relaxed, family-oriented household that treats everyone like one of their own.

Are you a rockstar organizer who can help put systems in place and maintain a tidy, well-run home? This family needs your expert eye and steady hand as they get ready to transform their space.

About the Role:

Before the renovation begins, the Family Assistant will work closely with the wife (and independently) to:

• Go room-by-room through their spacious 4,700 sq ft home

• Sort and organize belongings: deciding what to keep, donate, or toss

• Box and label items for safe storage during construction

• Help create a sense of order and calm during a time of transition

Once the renovation is underway (and after), the Family Assistant will continue to support the family with a blend of household and family support tasks, including:

• Light housekeeping and tidying (dishes, counters, general pickup)

• Family laundry

• Grocery shopping and household errands

• Handling returns and deliveries

• Light meal prep for their 12-year-old daughter

• Occasional driving for school pickups or activities

• Letting the dog in and out, and other light pet care duties

The Ideal Candidate:

• Exceptionally organized and able to take initiative
   
• A good problem-solver who enjoys making a household run smoothly

• Experienced in managing home organization and household logistics

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

• Friendly, flexible, and easygoing — someone who enjoys being part of a casual, close-knit home

• Great communicator with strong follow-through

• Pet- and kid-friendly

Details:

• Schedule: ~30 hours/week, flexible schedule to be set with the right person

• Start Date: As soon as the right person is identified

• Pay: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience — negotiable for the perfect match

• Additional Notes: Hours may increase temporarily before and during renovation, then shift to a more stable part-time schedule post-renovation

Current Staff: Housekeeper - once a week
Home SQFT: Approx. 4,700 Sq. Ft.

Position Responsibilities

• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Errands: 2/3 times a week, Grocery Shopping
• Driving: Preferred
• Travel: No Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 30 hours/week. Flexible hours, TBD - During the summer months, times may be earlier, and during the school year, hours may be a little later in the day to accommodate daughter's school and after-school activities, etc. 
• Languages: English (Must be able to communicate well)
• Experience: 03 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Background check upon contingent offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Organized, flexible, kind, friendly, reliable, self-starter, consistent, able to effectively communicate

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30-$40/hour on payroll, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
• Vacation: 2 weeks PTO, opportunity for extra time off when family travels.
